Engine oils have evolved considerably over time to achieve a high level of performance, regardless of the type of vehicle.
However, as essential as they are for the lubrication and the operation of an engine, all the multigrade oils available on the market acidify over time, let the engines running "metal against metal" and corrode in the long run the metal parts of vehicles.
A9 TECHNOLOGY® responds to this problem with the creation of a film-forming oil by:
  • Preventing direct contact between the different metal parts of the engine,
  • Eliminating overheating problems by reducing mechanical friction,
  • Improving torque at low revs by equalizing compression ratios,
  • Strengthening and improving the fluidity of oils at low temperatures.
European official laboratories have conducted several studies to quantify and control the effects of the residual film of the A9 TECHNOLOGY®.
In addition to extending the life of the mechanical, it greatly reduces the toxic gas emissions, saves fuel and cancel oil topping up.
These scientific studies, of which only A9 TECHNOLOGY® can prevail, led by UTAC and then INRETS have highlighted the outstanding capabilities of this technology and its direct impact on the efficiency and performance of a treated vehicle.
As early as 1990, they demonstrated that:
  • the petrol engine emits 77% less polluting emissions at idle speed and from 20 to 30% in city traffic at normal speed,
  • the diesel engine emits 40% less smoke when accelerating,
  • fuel consumption decreases by 5 to 10% according to the models and the kind of road (urban, road & highway),
  • the mechanics of your vehicle are protected, which guarantees its durability and facilitates its maintenance.
